Get to know CER

Helping educate the next generation. Quite simply, what we do and why do it. This is who we are and we believe this tagline encapsulates the meaning of CER Education and our community.

As we rediscover our brand, our vision never changed – putting people at the centre of everything we do. We challenge the status quo of recruitment agencies every day and want to show that we aren’t a corporate faceless organisation, but rather a company that wants to build authentic and long-lasting relationships.

From early years to further education, SEN to leaders in education, our experienced teams specialise in making sure every school, academy, college, nursery or free school has the temporary and permanent staff it needs to give their students the education they deserve.

Becoming a greener company

Affinity Workforce and its brands, including CER, believe in doing our part for the planet. That’s why we launched our Affinity Zero initiative, a cornerstone of our commitment to sustainability.

By partnering with Greener Energy Futures and TEMWA, we are actively working to reduce our carbon emissions and support communities globally that are severely impacted by climate change.

In 2024, Affinity Workforce has donated more than £7,500 to TEMWA Carbon Balance to help fund tree planting in disadvantaged areas of Malawi. In 2022, Affinity Workforce donated more than £5,000 to plant 4,120 trees and offset the 412 tonnes of carbon it produced.
