Job Description

A 'Good' academy in Stockton-on-Tees are looking for a dynamic teacher of English for an extended role. The role will start in January will run until at least the Easter holidays in the first instance, with a view to extending.

It is essential you have experience teaching English up to KS4. You will need to be passionate and innovative, teaching engaging lessons to a range of different needs. Schemes of work are already in place, which you can use to modify existing resources, to suit your teaching style.

The successful teacher will work with a team of specialists and will inspire all students to make progress. The academy will provide you with opportunities to access the CPD programme, share good practice and encourage enrichment activities as part of the curriculum. The academy will support NQT induction process, if applicable.

The academy welcomes applications from both Newly Qualified Teachers, as well as experienced practitioners.

To be considered for the position of teacher of English you must:

*Have experience teaching History to KS3 and KS4
*Deliver inspiring and engaging lessons
*Ensure that all students work their hardest to achieve the highest results
*Hold a recognised UK teaching qualification
